Rhinoplasty sometimes referred to as a "nose job" or "nose reshaping" by patients, enhances facial harmony and the proportions of your nose. It can also correct impaired breathing caused by structural defects in the nose.
What surgical rhinoplasty can treat
Nose size in relation to facial balance
Nose width at the bridge or in the size and position of the nostrils
Nose profile with visible humps or depressions on the bridge
Nasal tip that is enlarged or bulbous, drooping, upturned or hooked
Nostrils that are large, wide or upturned
If you desire a more symmetrical nose, keep in mind that everyone's face is asymmetric to some degree. Results may not be completely symmetric, although the goal is to create facial balance and correct proportion.
Rhinoplasty / Nose Job
Your nose is an important feature that helps define your face and the way you present yourself to the world. If you are not satisfied with the way it looks, then rhinoplasty can help boost your self-confidence by altering your nose to better suit your face.
Whether you want to change the shape of your nose to correct a nasal birth defect or later injury, to relieve breathing problems, or simply to make it look more like you want it to, Dr. Ofer Rodriguez will help you decide how rhinoplasty might benefit you.
What is a Rhinoplasty?
Rhinoplasty is one of the most common of all plastic surgery procedures. The actual operation may involve reducing or increasing the size of your nose, straightening a crooked nose, changing the shape of the tip or the bridge, narrowing the span of the nostrils, or changing the angle between your nose and your upper lip. In addition, some patients may require reconstruction of the nasal airway to improve their breathing for problems such as a deviated septum.
